Introducing Climate Commons, shared messaging infrastructure for the climate movement.
Shared research, coordinated campaigns, and the connective layer that lets the movement speak with cumulative force.
Mission
The climate movement has everything it needs to win — except a shared voice.
Climate Commons is building it. Shared messaging infrastructure for the movement: tested research, coordinated campaigns, and the scaffolding that lets us speak with cumulative force when it matters most.
We are a coalition of change-makers, activists, elected officials, cultural influencers, campaigns, and key climate organizations — all working in tandem to transform the way we talk about climate.
What we’re building
Climate Commons is the shared messaging infrastructure for the climate movement — the backbone that makes every other climate communications effort more effective.
Not another advocacy org. Not another training program. Not another creator network. The connective layer underneath all of it: shared research, shared language, shared timing, shared rapid response.
When the backbone exists, the whole movement gets stronger.
The Four Functions
-
Climate Commons operates through four integrated functions. Each one is a piece of the shared infrastructure. Together, they make every organization, creator, and communicator in the climate movement more effective.
-
The research engine. Shared audience polling, message testing, and qualitative study — published openly so every organization in the ecosystem can use it.
-
The coordination network. Organizations, creators, and communicators working from a common strategic foundation while keeping their own voice.
-
In-person intensives that bring communicators into the ecosystem with shared language and shared strategy. Built directly on what the research tells us works.
-
The creator and campaign layer. Coordinated organic content around shared themes and moments — trust at scale.
A Founding MomentClimate Commons is new. The founding cohort is forming right now. The first shared audience intelligence study is being scoped. The first Crash Course is being built. The first coordinated campaign is being designed.
If you are an organization that has been waiting for the shared layer to exist — this is it. If you are a funder who has watched the climate movement lose the narrative fight and wondered who was going to fix it — this is the answer.
Early matters. The organizations and funders who build this with us now shape what it becomes.
